Bubble Gum Day | February 3, 2022
Bubble gum has come a long way since the time when Americans would chew on spruce tree resin… Yes, spruce tree resin. It is said that it didn’t taste great and became brittle when chewed. Who wouldn’t want to chew on some of that?! Fast forward to 1928, a successful formula for the first commercial bubble gum, dubbed Dubble Bubble, was created.
On Thursday, 2/3/22, PCI will be having a Bubble Gum Day to celebrate National Bubble Gum Day. Much to the chagrin of the Dental Assistant instructors, bubble gum will be given out on the 1st floor and all students are welcome to have a chew. How big of a bubble can you get?
